Membership of the Study Group

Membership of the Study Group (NSRSG) is open to anyone interested in the North Staffordshire Railway. Whether your interest is in modelling the NSR or its history then the NSRSG is the place for you.

Membership benefits include:

  • The journal - Usually published twice a year our professionally produced A4 sized Journal and contains research papers and articles written by members.

  • Looplines - A quarterly roundup of news and information.

  • Meetings - The Group holds meetings twice a year at the Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton. At our meetings we might have guest presentations, there is always a chance to look at some of our modellers latest work and there is always some lively ‘railway chat’.

  • Outings - Occasionally the Group organises guided walks along the routes of the former NSR lines, or visits to places of railway interest.

  • nsrail - Our on-line discussion forum which gives members the chance to ask questions and swap news.

The membership fee is £20 per annum.

If you would like to join the NSRSG or have any questions about membership please email the webmaster. Alternatively you can download an application form.
